3d/4d ultrasound - drinking water?
The place im going to get my 3d ultrasound said I had to drink 64 oz of h2o daily for the full calendar week before. Anyone else have to exercise this? And does it really matter?

No and mine turned out great. They did tell me to "upward my water intake the mean solar day before and twenty-four hours of."

I accept to do that likewise for my 3d/4d. I was told it was to have max amniotic fluid for the best pictures.
I made an appt for mine today and they only told me not to eat a heavy repast for at least 2 hrs prior.
I was told to drink 1/2 gallon to a gallon in the 3-4 days prior. I commonly drinkable effectually one/two gallon per 24-hour interval anyway, just it definitely took an extra endeavour to up the intake. Pics turned out great though! Just who knows if they wouldn't accept anyway?

I had to pee really bad before my appointment. The lady had me become to the bathroom. She said I should enjoy the experience, not exist uncomfortable the unabridged time. My pictures turned out cracking.

Yes, in fact for me it was more than 64 ounces. They simply told me to drink more than I've drank before every 24-hour interval for a week before the ultrasound.
Information technology really helped. You need a lot of amniotic fluid and articulate amniotic fluid to get the best pictures. If yous are drinking lots of juices instead of water, it was my understanding the fluid may not be clear and you lot could go fuzzy pictures. Likewise, the more fluid you have, the easier it is for baby to movement around and you lot tin get meliorate shots.
